Wilmington Schools Receive $4396 In WEF Grants
Wilmington receive grants for curriculum programs.

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Educational Foundation last week donated $4,396 to the Wilmington School Committee to be used for school curriculum, the Wilmington Apple reports.
The Foundation's Curriculum Grant Program is divided into five grants:
- $1,218 for Learning In A Whole New Life. Purchase of the Lightbox Literacy Product for each North & West classrooms
- $1,000 for Grade 1 Listening Centers. This involves the purchase of six Hamilton Buhl listening centers with Bluetooth Boombox & Headphone Rack, plus book sets for each Grade 1 classroom at the Woburn Street school.
- $1,020 for Teaching with Technology & Texts. This money will be used to purchase six document cameras and library books.
- $902 for Building STEAM in the Library. This purchase of a MakerSpace Cart in the Shawsheen Library.
- $256 for Lifecycle of a Chick. This money will buy an incubator, heat lamp, watering base, feeding base, bottle, chick feed, and bedding for Sara Pesanelli’s classroom at the Wildwood school.
