Based on surveys over the last two years, the committee believes there is a need for more awareness of existing open space as well as an interest in trials.

After the public comment period, the plan will be submitted to the state for review and approval. An approved plan would make the town open for state and federal open space and trail grants.

Anyone with questions should contact the Department of Planning and Conservation at 978-658-8238.
