Wilmington Sonic Closes Its Doors

It is unclear if the drive-in's closure is temporary or permanent.

WILMINGTON - The Sonic Drive-In in Wilmington has closed its doors, NBC/Boston reports.

The 220 Main Street eatery had a notice posted last week saying that Sonic had shutdown the restaurant, although the chain's website still lists the location but has a notation that it is "closed,'' according to reports.

It is not known if the closure is permanent or temporary.
