Wilmington Woman Killed in Maine Snowmobiling Crash
Karen Pillman, 45, of Wilmington, killed while snowmobiling in Maine on Saturday.
PARLIN POND TOWNSHIP, ME - A 45-year-old Wilmington woman was killed on Saturday in Maine when her snowmobile veered off a trail and crashed into trees in Maine, according to authorities.
Authorities in Parlin Pond Township said Karen Pillman was pronounced dead at the scene of the 5 p.m. crash.
Speed was likely a contributing factor in the crash, authorities speculate. Pillman was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, authorities said.
