45% Of Woburn Has Received At Least 1 Vaccination Shot
Well over a quarter of Woburn residents are fully vaccinated, according to the latest state data.

WOBURN, MA — Nearly half of the city's residents have received at least one coronavirus vaccination shot, a major milestone in the local fight against the virus.
Twenty-seven percent of Woburn residents have been fully vaccinated and 45 percent have been at least partially vaccinated as of Thursday's numbers from the Department of Public Health. That means 18,695 residents have received either one Moderna or Pfizer dose or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson dose (the latter of which is currently under a pause.)
Over sixty percent of those over the age of 64 been fully vaccinated.

The state data also breaks down vaccinations by race. In Woburn, multi-racial residents lead the way with 36 percent fully vaccinated, versus 28 percent of white residents, 27 percent of Black residents and just 11 percent of Hispanic and Asian residents.
