Nomination papers for the city election will be available in the city clerk’s office beginning May 3, 2021. The positions of mayor, city council, and five school committee members will be on the ballot. The position of mayor requires 100 signatures, school committee and alderman at large requires 50 signatures, and ward alderman requires 10 signatures. Nomination papers can be picked up through July 23, 2021, and are due back at the city clerk’s office by July 27, 2021. A candidate information packet is available at the City Clerk’s Office.
City Hall regular hours are Monday through Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For more information, call the City Clerk’s office at (781) 897-5850 or visit www.cityofwoburn.com.
