In a rare move, the School Committee decided to give Crowley back-to-back terms as chair.

Crowley led the committee through the arrival of the coronavirus in the spring and picking a learning model for the current school year.

Crowley praised other members of the committee as well as school and city officials. While the virus remains an active concern, she said that the committee should focus on dealing with learning loss in the coming year.
