National Grid Starts Night Work On Montvale Avenue In Woburn

WOBURN, MA — Drivers traveling on Montvale Avenue between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. in the coming weeks take note: National Grid is replacing the natural gas main at 317 to 325 Montvale Avenue, as well as the natural gas service piping that connects the main to the customer’s gas meters. The work is being done Monday through Friday and is expected to last through July 19, weather permitting.

"We will work hard to complete this project promptly and with minimal disruption to the community," the utility said in a statement.
