Police: No Foul Play Involved In Body Found In Horn Pond

Woburn police confirmed that there was no foul play suspected in the death of a 54-year-old Burlington woman.

WOBURN, MA — There was no foul play involved in the death of the woman found in Horn Pond, Oct. 9, Woburn police Chief Robert Rufo confirmed Thursday.

Rufo attributed the woman's death to "medical-related issues."

He did not identify the woman but said she was a 54-year-old Burlington resident.

The woman was not missing for long, Rufo said. Her family believed she left her home around 4:45 a.m. on Oct. 9. She was reported missing around 7 a.m. and found soon at 7:19.
