Read: Woburn's Detailed Hybrid Reopening Plan

After Tuesday's Woburn School Committee vote to reopen with a hybrid model, the district released its detailed plan.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn's detailed hybrid reopening plan is now available, after the school committee's vote Tuesday to reopen with that model.

The plan, released Wednesday, details what schedules will look like for the four cohorts of students: opt-in "Virtual Academy" students, high needs students who will attend in person four days per week and the two groups that will attend two days per week.

The two groups that attend two days per week, cohorts A and B, will attend either Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday. The two cohorts will both learn remotely on Wednesdays.

The plan details sample schedules and what remote days will look like for each age group: how much synchronous learning they have, what assignments will entail and more.

Virtual academy students will be assigned Woburn Public Schools educators, according to the plan. Families can opt in to the virtual academy by grading period.

The plan covers a range of other topics, including: the academy calendar, hours of instruction, special education, technology access and transportation.

School specific plans will be released August 21st.
