'Slow Down': Woburn Firefighters Send Warning After 5 Big Crashes
The warning comes after Woburn firefighters have responded to several serious crashes within just three days.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn firefighters are asking drivers to ease up on the gas pedal the next time they hit the road.
In just the last three days, firefighters said they've responded to two major crashes on Interstate 95 and three rollover crashes on Route 3. All five accidents have resulted in serious injuries.
"Please slow down," firefighters warned via Twitter.

In one of those accidents, a 37-year-old man from Needham died Sunday night on I-95 as he was driving near exit 54 and veered to the right and into a guardrail, NBC 10 Boston reported. His car then veered back across all four lanes of the highway before striking an SUV.

The driver was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Three other people in the second vehicle were treated for their injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
