Tewksbury Little Leaguer Participates In Fenway Park Ceremony
The event was part of a Red Sox initiative to give kids more access to games and promote youth baseball.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Tewksbury Little Leaguer Nicholas Alessi joined the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park for Little League Opening Day on Wednesday. he six-year-old joined Red Sox mascots Wally and Tessie, along with 900 other young athletes to play catch in the Fenway Park outfield, enjoy games in the Kids Concourse, walk the warning track and take photos in the Red Sox and visitor dugouts.
Little League Opening Day is a part of the Red Sox Calling All Kids initiative, which aims to provide greater access to Red Sox games, enhance kids experiences at Fenway Park, and celebrate and strengthen the game of baseball in the community.
