Thank you to Miss Pettoruto's 8th Grade Civics Class!

I would like to thank Miss Pettoruto and her 8th Grade Civics Class from the Daniel L. Joyce Middle School for their very thoughtful Winter Care Package they prepared for the senior citizens of Woburn!

At a time of the year when many young people are understandably thinking mainly about what gifts they will receive for the holidays, these 8th graders were thinking about giving gifts to us seniors. The appearance of many of these students outside the Woburn Senior Center to wish us Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, along with their generosity, was very warm and touching.

Thank you, Miss Pettoruto, for inspiring your students, and thank you, students, for bringing these gifts and warm wishes to us!
