Woburn Chef Wins Food Network's 'Chopped' Competition

Stephen Coe owns and cooks out of the SWAT Culinary Assault Vehicle food truck.

WOBURN, MA -- Fans of Food Network's "Chopped" will recognize a familiar face when they tune into Season 41, Episode 4. Stephen Coe, the Woburn chef who owns and operates the SWAT Culinary Assault Vehicle food truck, topped three other chefs to win the episode and its $10,000 prize. The show requires competitors to cook dishes using a basket of ingredients that are sometimes rare and often don't go with one another.

"This competition was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the variety of cooking skills and ingredients we use all the time, wowing customers of the SWAT Culinary Assault Vehicle," Coe told Wicked Local Woburn, which first reported this story. Coe said he is working on his first cookbook.
