Woburn Fire Puts Out Fire On Clinton Street
Woburn firefighters responded Tuesday afternoon to an outdoor fire on Clinton street.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn firefighters put out an outdoor house fire at 8 Clinton Street, Tuesday evening.
Firefighters responded around 4:30 p.m. to a reported basement fire. On arrival, they found that the fire was actually outside the house, on its vinyl siding, with smoke venting into the basement due to the wind.
The fire was quickly put out, with mutual aid engines released within an hour, Chief Stephen Adgate said. Burlington, Reading and Winchester provided mutual aid.

There were no injuries, Adgate said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.

"The members did an outstanding job as usual, getting right to the heart of the issues and mitigated appropriately," Adgate said.
The fire chief also thanked the city's police department and department of public works for their assistance.
