Woburn Little Leaguers Take District 13 Title
The 12-year-old Woburn Little League team has taken the District 13 championship.
WOBURN, MA—The 12-year-old Woburn Little League team has taken the top prize in the 2016 District 13 tournament.
In an epic come-from-behind victory, the Woburn Tanners topped Lexington by a score of 13-12 at Weafer Park in Woburn Friday night. The Daily Times Chronicle reports that the Tanners came backfrom an eight-run deficit to top Lexington in the sixth inning.
With the victory, the Tanners move on to sectionals to face Andover National Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
