Woburn Native to Co-Star in Fox's 'Grandfathered'

Woburn Native Michael Hennessey will be co-staring in Fox’s new television show “Grandfathered.”

The show is about an ultimate bachelor who suddenly discovers that he is not only a father, but a grandfather as well. John Stamos stars as Jimmy Martino, a successful restaurant owner, who is stunned to learn his son has a daughter and is forced to adjust to being a grandfather.

Hennessey will appear in the season premiere. He plays a character named Toby. The longtime Woburn resident has appeared in an array of shows and movies, including “How I Met Your Mother.”

The series debuts Tuesday, September 29, at 8 p.m.
