WOBURN — One of two "major drug dealers" charged by Woburn police last month with distribution of fentanyl had his probable-cause hearing delayed on Friday while awaiting State Lab drug certifications.

Tejeda is additionally charged with trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 grams.
On Feb. 16, as part of an ongoing drug investigation, officers initiated surveillance and watched as Tejeda and Catinazzo allegedly engaged in illegal drug activity.
Additionally, Catinazzo is known to the Woburn Police Department and S.M.R.D.T.F.
After observing a transaction detectives executed a motor vehicle stop a short distance away and placed Tejeda under arrest, police recovered approximately 19.6 grams of fentanyl on Tejeda.
Catinazzo was arrested a short time later in a Hudson Place apartment, which is known to first responders as the site of numerous previous opioid overdoses going back over a year, Ferullo said.
“This was a significant arrest for the City of Woburn, as it has removed two major drug dealers from our streets and put a stop to drug activity in a city neighborhood,” Ferullo said.
"I want to commend Woburn Police Detectives, the Drug Unit, and S.M.R.D.T.F. for their continued work on this case," he said.
