Woburn Police Assist in Regional Heroin Bust

Woburn, MA - The Woburn Police Department assisted multiple area law enforcement agencies in a regional drug, bust which netted five arrests, officials said.

On Friday, the North Suburban Middlesex Drug Task Force executed multiple search warrants at apartment buildings in Malden, Revere and Medford. The suspects, alleged members of a major drug ring north of Boston, were taken into custody.

300 grams of heroin, $50,000 in cash and five cars were seized in the raid, officials said.

Medford, Malden, Belmont, and Watertown police also assisted in the takedown.
