Woburn Police Report Wave Of Car Break-Ins
Woburn police have received "a large number of reports" of thefts from cars in recent days, the department said.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn police reported a wave of car break-ins over recent days, Monday.
"We have been experiencing a large number of reports for vehicles being gone through and the larceny of items from vehicles," the department said. "Please be sure to lock your vehicles whenever they are unattended."
In almost every report the department received, the cars were left unlocked overnight, they said.

"Do not leave any valuables in your vehicles, take them with you," the police said. "Our officers are out patrolling the streets but we can’t be everywhere at all times."
Woburn police officers will be patrolling the hardest-hit areas, the department said, but residents are still encouraged to lock their vehicles and residences. Burlington police reported that a number of Woburn break-ins were near the Burlington town line.

"If you see or hear anything suspicious please call the police station," the Woburn department said.
