Woburn vs. Burlington Among Candidates for FOX 25 'Game of the Week'
Here's how you can vote for the local showdown.
WOBURN, MA — The Woburn Memorial High School Tanners football team will be hosting the Burlington Red Devils at Connolly Stadium Friday night, and the game has been named as one of FOX 25's Games of the Week.
The Tanners will hope to avenge last season's 33-7 loss to the Red Devils who are coming off a successful 8-3 campaign. Head coach Rocky Nelson's squad is also attempting to avenge its week 1 loss, coming at the hands of North Andover by a score of 19-13 in what was a hard-fought battle.
The Red Devils are also licking their wounds after their home opener, a game in which they fell to Billerica Memorial High School by a score of 35-0.

The Middlesex League rivalry showcase is set to begin at 7 p.m. at Woburn Memorial High School on Friday. The game is up against four other contests around the area for game of the week honors.

- Haverhill vs. North Andover
