Woburn Weather Forecast: Snowy Monday Starts Messy Week

The National Weather Service issued another winter storm watch for much of the state as it prepares for up to three straight days of storms.

WOBURN, MA—Snow will be pounding most of Massachusetts all day Monday, the first of three consecutive days where the state could see separate storms.

Quantity expectations remain uncertain among forecasters, but Weather.com currently calls for 1 to 3 inches Monday. The National Weather Service is calling for 2 to 4 inches on Monday and 2 to 4 inches on Monday Night.

Just two days after an unexpected system dumped up to a foot of snow, downed trees and power lines, and left tens of thousands without electricity, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency said Sunday morning to expect more of the same.


The National Weather Service issued a winter weather watch for much of the state that will be in effect from Monday morning into Tuesday morning.

4 to 7 inches is expected in the Boston area while Southeastern Mass by the NWS. and the Cape once again will bear the brunt, expecting up to 10 inches. Snow could start in the morning and continue into the night, ending around 4 a.m. Tuesday.


The National Weather Service currently says there is at least a chance of snow showers every day from Monday to Thursday, but it’s too far out to estimate totals.
