Woburn Winter Storm: How Long Will it Last?

The snow has finally arrived, but how long will it last?

WOBURN, MA—Winter Storm Mars has began to hit Woburn, and city streets are beginning to be draped with snow.

According to Weather.com, residents should expect occasional snow over the next couple of hours. There is a 90 percent chance of snow until 4 p.m. and at least a 60 percent chance of snow until 1 a.m. The snow is expected to stop by 4 a.m.

Winds are projected to stay around 20 miles per hour throughout the day. Woburn is still expected to see 3 to 5 inches during the day and 1 to 3 inches at night.

The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for more accumulation, with 2 to 4 inches falling this evening.
