911 Lines Restored In Michigan After 4-Hour Outage
Authorities announced around 3:30 a.m. Friday that 911 lines were down across Michigan.
MICHIGAN — After a four-hour outage, authorities announced just before 8 a.m. Friday that the 911 lines in Michigan have been restored.
Oakland County officials first alerted residents at 3:20 a.m., directing Michigan residents to call 248-858-4911 or to text 911. As of 7:50 a.m., residents may utilize 911 again.
Michigan State Police said there was a technical issue while an update was being deployed. Further details on that were not provided.
