MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Michiganders will feel The Bern again this weekend as U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) returns to the mitten to hold a rally in Macomb County.

The rally will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Macomb Community College in Warren. The outdoor event is free and open to the public, though people wanting to attend are encouraged to register online.

The Free Press reported that Sanders shocked the nation in 2016 by winning the Michigan Democratic presidential primary despite eventual nominee Hillary Clinton’s double-digit lead in several polls in the state.
