Woman Kills Baby's Father Inside Clinton Township Apartment: Cops

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A 27-year-old woman is facing charges in the killing of the father of their child inside a Clinton Township apartment, according to the Clinton Township Police Department.

Katryce Anita Curd, of Clinton Township, is accused of fatally shooting Ron Ramon Brazier 28, around 10 p.m. Sunday. It happened at her apartment on South Grange Street between 16 Mile Road and Harper Avenue, WDIV reported.

Officials said the couple have a 7-year-old child together but did not live together.

Officers found Brazier with a gunshot wound to his abdomen and he later died at the hospital.

Curd was arraigned Wednesday on charges of second-degree murder, manslaughter and two felony firearm violations. She faces the possibility of life in prison for the murder charge and she is being held at the Macomb County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail, cash/surety. If released, she must wear a GPS tether, according to her bond terms.
