The splash pads, located at Crowley, Hemlock and Whitmore-Bolles Parks, are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Kids can use the splash pads, which feature action-automated nozzles and water dispensers, for free and no pool tag is required. Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by a responsible person age 16 or over, though.

3. Go swimming

The city has several neighborhood pools open this summer.

Ten Eyck Pool, along with Lapeer and Summer-Stephens offer open swimming daily from 1-6 p.m. Dunworth Pool offers open swimming weekdays from 1-8 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 12-8 p.m.

A pool tag is required. Get more information about pool tags here.
