Dearborn's Christmas Tree Lighting Set For Nov. 25
A festival of trees, hot chocolate and visits with Santa are some of the highlights of this event.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn will mark the beginning of the Christmas season Nov. 25 with the city’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and sing-along at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.
The free event, a longstanding Dearborn tradition, gets underway at 6:30 p.m. when Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr., assisted by Ari Sulollari, a kindergarten student at Nowlin Elementary School, will light the ceremonial city Christmas tree outside the Michael A Guido Theater’s west entrance.
The festivities will then move into the theater for holiday performances by the Dearborn Community Concert Band and the Dearborn Public Schools Elementary & Secondary Honors Choirs.
