DEARBORN, MI — Residents are reminded that all City of Dearborn buildings will be closed for Thanksgiving on Nov. 28. This means the Dearborn Administrative Center (DAC), the 19th District Court, Dearborn Public Libraries, the Dearborn Ice Skating Center (DISC) and the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center (The Center) will all be closed in observation of the holiday.

The DAC, 19th District Court and the Bryant and Esper Branch Libraries will remain closed on Friday, Nov. 29.

The Center will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Nov. 29. The DISC will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Hockey Tournament on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Trash collection delayed, no leaf collection for Thursday district

Trash, recycling and curbside waste pickup will be delayed by one day for the Thursday and Friday trash districts. Loose leaf collection services will continue on Friday for the Friday trash district, and, for the Thursday district, will resume as normal on Thursday, Dec. 5.
