Miller’s Bar Burger Named One Of Best In Country

DEARBORN, MI — Miller’s Bar is known for its burgers around town and now that fame is going nationwide. Thanks to a new article of the best burgers in the country, Miller’s Bar is making headlines. Thrillist, a food and entertainment website, included the burger bar on its latest list of 31 Best Burger Joints In America. It was the only Michigan burger to make the roundup.

Thrillist Editor Andy Kryza doted on this metro Detroit staple in his review:

“In the years since 1947, a lot has changed in the Detroit area, but through thick and thin, one thing has remained a constant: the burger at Miller’s Bar,” he wrote. “Here you get a perfectly cooked medium burger with a slab of Velveeta and white onions stacked on a steamed bun that barely holds its own against the cascade of magnificent juice and cheese product that erupts with each bite.”

Kryza contrasted it to the yuppies flocking to Royal Oak’s Redcoat for “some fancy burger variant.” He noted Miller’s still serves their dishes up on wax paper and bills are paid by the honor system in this neighborhood joint.
