DETROIT, MI — One of Detroit’s finest penthouses is on the market, according to reports, asking for a cool $4.9 million.

The penthouse atop the Book Cadillac in Downtown Detroit has five floors of condos beneath it, plus the Westin Book Cadillac. It’s the most expensive residence to ever hit the market in the city, WDIV reported.

The three-story, three-bedroom condo is 5,100 square feet. Views include the Ambassador Bridge, the Book Tower, the Fisher Building and even into Comerica Park.

The master bedroom has arched windows unique to the building and a large closet space, too. The owner designed everything himself, the report said.

It has been on the market for 26 days. There's also a monthly home owner's association fee to go with the $4.9 million price tag: $3,000 per month.
