Kid Rock's Detroit Mansion Sells For $2.2M
Here's a look inside the American themed mansion.

DETROIT, MI — Kid Rock's Americana-themed mansion in Detroit that hit the market over the summer fetched its asking price of $2.2 million.
The six-bedroom home in the Joseph Berry subdivision on the Detroit River and features American flags and iconography of figures from George Washington to Jesus, according to reports.

The 1930s home spans 6,000 square feet and has all the "Made in Detroit" branded household items you can ask for.



Kid Rock has made headlines the last few weeks for his controversial moves in the city. He declined to renew the licensing agreement for his Made in Detroit restaurant, which leased space in Little Caesars Arena, after backlash from a drunken rant against Oprah Winfrey at his Nashville bar, Curbed reported. On the same day, operators of the bar and grill reached a settlement agreement with a former employee in a racial discrimination lawsuit, they said.

On December 4, Kid Rock made a Facebook post saying he’s done with Detroit and later that day, the Detroit News wrote an editorial titled, “Hey, Kid Rock, Detroit is done with you.”
