Lasagna Pizza: Little Caesars’ Newest Creation

The Detroit-based national pizza chain is trying new things. What do you think?

DETROIT, MI — Little Caesars is trying out a lasagna pizza that may make its way to Michigan if it’s popular enough.

Chew Boom reports the Detroit-based national pizza chain is testing out a lasagna pizza at some locations in Georgia, West Virginia and Ohio.

The pizza is round with with a Parmesan breadcrumb crust, meaty marinara sauce, mini ribbon pasta, Italian sausage, plus mozzarella, Muenster and ricotta cheeses, according to Chew Boom.

One pizza will rack up 2,740 calories and 5,780 mg of sodium. The new mashup carries a suggested price of $9 and is served Hot-N-Ready from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at participating locations.

No word on if or when Little Caesars plans to share this new creation with everyone.
