DETROIT, MI — The previous Indian Village home of musician Jack White has hit the market and it packs a ton of history.

The historic house was built in 1914 by renowned architect C. Howard Crane for prominent attorney Ralph Phelps, according to reports. Crane also designed Detroit's Fox Theater, the DIA, the Detroit Opera House, and The Fillmore.

The White Stripes recorded their 5th Studio Album on the staircase because White "liked how it sounded,” WDIV reported.
