Farmington Hills Fire Dept. looking for part-time firefighters

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — The Farmington Hills Fire Department is looking for its next paid-on-call firefighter. These part-time workers typically respond to emergencies in evenings and on weekends. Once trained, the firefighters become part of the Farmington Hills Fire Department and participate in fire prevention activities, respond to medical emergencies, extinguish fires and receive continuous training for the job.

An informational session will be held at 7 p.m. June 14 at Fire Station No. 5, located 31455 W. Eleven Mile Road. Officials say this is a great way to help serve the community. For more information, call the Farmington Hills Fire Department at 248-871-2800.
