2015 Fenton ArtWalk Artist Wendy Dalton to Appear at Biggby July 11

Residence: Hartland, MI..

How did you get started as an artist?: Originally from Lansing, I majored in Graphic Design at LCC but fell in love with airbrushing.

Describe your art: I have been airbrushing since 1997 and, now, paint graphics on motorcycles and vehicles for a company called Custom Finishes. And when I’m not painting motorcycles, I paint custom orders on canvas, walls, and just about any other surface.

What is your next project?: I was fortunate to be in Artprize in 2014 and, in 2013, sold a painting to the Detroit Tigers. I will be painting a piece for 2016 Artprize at this year’s Fenton Artwalk. I will have a few large paintings on display at the Fenton Artwalk as well.. (If weather permits)

What inspires you?:
 I’m a single mom of a 9 year old angel of a kiddo… He’s my partner in crime and my best friend.
