Flint Area Weekend Weather

The first half of the weekend looks wet, but what about Sunday? Find out what the National Weather Service says.

FLINT, MI — By now you’ve probably shopped until you’re ready to drop and had enough turkey to last you for at least a year. Time to recoup, relax and enjoy the weekend, even if the weather forecast isn’t looking so hot.

After a beautiful Friday that saw temperatures around 50 degrees, the National Weather Service is predicting a, well, downright icky first half of the weekend in the Flint area. Here’s a look:

Friday night: A chance of showers between 11pm and 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 18 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: A chance of showers after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 36 by 5pm. West northwest wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Saturday Night: A chance of snow showers before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Northwest wind 5 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 42. West southwest wind 5 to 13 mph. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45.
