The paint collected at the Restore is transported to a processing facility in Battle Creek, operated by ePaint LLC, where the paint is then made into a new paint product called “Everybody’s Paint” or “ePaint” for short. This new paint product is then returned to the Restore in the City of Flint where residents can purchase new paint for under $15 per gallon! Paint colors even have their own Michigan-made touch such as “Keep Lake Michigan Blue”, “Mackinaw Green” and “Petoskey Stone”.
This program has been organized by the Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission with support from the Genesee County Habitat for Humanity and Keep Genesee County Beautiful.
