Joe Louis Arena Expected to Make Big Paul McCartney Announcement

The Joe Louis Arena tweeted Monday about a big announcement Tuesday concerning Paul McCartney's #OUTTHERE tour.

A couple of tweets from the Joe Louis Arena Monday afternoon left little doubt that former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney may be bringing his fall Out There tour to Detroit.

A formal announcement will be made Tuesday.

The hints included a left-handed guitar emblazoned with a Detroit Red Wings logo – which McCartney played during a Comerica Park show four years ago – along with other clues, including the #OUTTHERE hashtag and lyrics from a couple of the superstar’s hits, “Maybe I’m Amazed” and “Yesterday.”
