Mott Community College (MCC) Fine Arts student Cheyenne Forman, of Flint, has her artwork featured in the national art exhibition "Art in Isolation.”  The exhibition was curated by HC Hu?nh for The Art School Pedagogy 2.0 Zoomposium, sponsored by The Art and Art Education Program, Teachers College, Columbia University and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

Foreman’s work included in the exhibition is an oil painting titled “Get These Bird’s Nests Out of Me.” “This painting documents me shaving my head in an attempt to feel in control over something, anything, in my life during a mental break down shortly before the holidays. It was an important part of grieving the loss of family, tradition, community, opportunity, and connection caused by the pandemic,” she said.
