Black Bear Killed In Crash On I-75 In Flint Township Monday
Michigan State Police said the Department of Natural Resources is investigating the bear's death.
FLINT TWP., MI — A fully grown bear was found dead Monday morning on I-75 in Flint Township, Michigan State Police said.
The black bear was found dead in the roadway on I-75, near Beecher Road, around 1 a.m. Monday, according to Michigan State Police.
The Flint Post is investigating the crash the resulted in the bear's death but reported that the vehicle involved in the crash had left the scene prior to troopers arriving on the scene.

The bear carcass has been turned over to the Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division for further investigation, police said.
