Flint Voters Warned Of Robocall Scam On Election Day

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said to beware of a robocall scam being reported in Flint.

FLINT, MI — Voters in Flint are being warned of a robocall scam being reported on Election Day.

According to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, reports have surfaced regarding robocalls suggesting to some Flint voters that due to long lines, they should vote tomorrow.

However, Tuesday is the final day to cast your vote in the general election, and polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

"Obviously this is FALSE and an effort to suppress the vote," Nessel said on Twitter. "No long lines and today is the last day to vote. Don’t believe the lies! Have your voice heard!"

If you do encounter any issues at the polls while voting Tuesday, Patch wants to hear from you.
