COVID-19 Vaccines In Grosse Pointe: Shots Available April 6-7
Doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are available on Tuesday and Wednesday for Grosse Pointe residents 50 and older.
GROSSE POINTE, MI — Grosse Pointe residents 50 and older can receive COVID-19 vaccinations on Tuesday and Wednesday, Wayne County officials announced recently.
Registration is underway for vaccinations at Windmill Pointe Park, 14920 Windmill Pointe Drive. The vaccinations will be administered through the Wayne County Department of Public Health and the five Pointes communities from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days. Appointments will be scheduled for every 15 minutes.
“With infection rates continuing to rise throughout Michigan, now is the time to make sure you register for a vaccine,” Wayne County Commissioner Tim Killeen (D-Detroit) said in a statement.

Vaccinations are available for residents 50 and older and spouses, as well as for caregivers, the county said. Those who register for a shot will be required to show their driver's license or another form of state ID.
