Enjoy Three Billboards After A Corned Beef And Cabbage Dinner

A new program offers all-you-can-eat dinner before the movies at Windmill Pointe Park.

Mary Lou Muer, who operates the outdoor cafe at Windmill Pointe Park, has stated a monthly dining event called Dinner wit Mary Lou. Once a month, before movies at the two small first-run theaters inside the park, Muer will offer an all-you-can- eat meal in the Tompkins Center. The events, open to Grosse Pointe Park residents with park passes, includes a “signature dish,” salad and freshly baked rolls.

On Tuesday, March 13 at 5:30 p.m., you can have corned beef and cabbage before checking out a very not-Irish Black Panther, or the far more serious Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which just won Frances McDormand Best Actress honors at Sunday’s Academy Awards.

Muer’s husband operates Detroit’s Blue Point Restaurant, and his cousins are known all over the Metro area for Joe Muer Seafood, so it’s possible some future dinner will feature fish - perhaps this summer when the marina at Windmill Pointe will be full of sport fishers.
