Grosse Pointe North Senior Jordan Jackson won $125 for his block print 'X' in a recent artists compeition for Black History month. His print is on display at the N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art in Detroit.
Jordan was one of 12 finalists in a compeition sponsored by McDonald's area owners/operators related to artwork and black history. The competition included students from several counties.
The students were recently recognized during a reception at the N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art.

Jordan has been accepted at several art schools and his artwork will be on display in the coming weeks for the senior art portfolio showcase. Additionally, his work will be in the school's art show later this spring.
