Grosse Pointe Resident Named Vice President at ChannelNet

Grosse Pointe resident Angela Johnson brings over 20 years of client relationship management to Dearborn-based ChannelNet.

Grosse Pointe resident Angela Johnson has been named vice president of account management at Dearborn-based ChannelNet.

Johnson, who has over twenty years of client relationship management, was named to the newly created position to help ChannelNet manage "its record growth," according to a release.

She comes highly recommended by our clients,” said Paula Tompkins, CEO and Founder of ChannelNet in a release. “It is important that we have someone in this role that the industry trusts. We are excited to have her award-wining talents and look for her to accelerate our growth in the automotive, home improvement, and finance industries.”

ChannelNet is a leader in digital customer acquisition, retention and conquest marketing, according to a release. 

Johnson has over 20 years of client relationship management and is an expert in developing multi-channel solutions for the automotive, high-tech and insurance industries, a release stated. She will be responsible for driving the ongoing support for ChannelNet’s clients and strategic partnerships. Her client portfolio will include notables such as Fiserv, JM Family Enterprises, Kia, Hyundai, VW, Audi, BMW, Ally Auto, Benjamin Moore Paints, Hunter Douglas and RouteOne.

“ChannelNet’s internet marketing growth and the industry trends make this a phenomenal opportunity,” said Johnson, in a release. “My goal will be to take ChannelNet to the next level and make it the go-to solution provider for customer engagement solutions across numerous industries.”

Johnson most recently was Acxiom Corporation’s Senior Director of Account Management and Client Services where she was responsible for launching and managing the largest customer relationship management (CRM) system transformation in the automotive industry for General Motors. She started her career as a data administrator and consultant at Acxiom, and then worked her way up the ranks from a solutions delivery lead to a client relationship and account manager.

Johnson attended the University of Arkansas and resides in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
