Have No Fear: Library Scares Up Costume Sale

The Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library have three events planned for October, including the Halloween Costume Sale on Oct. 6.

This is no trick. The Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library have several treats planned for October.

First is the Halloween Costume Sale on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Grosse Pointe Public Library Woods branch. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Grosse Pointe Library.

Next is the Fall Used Book Sale from Oct. 18-Oct. 20 at the Ewald branch. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Oct. 18; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Oct. 19; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Oct. 20.

Finally, the Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library will have a Trick or Read tent at the Village in Grosse Pointe on Oct. 31 at 3:30 p.m. The group will have a large selection of children’s books available.
