Hazardous Weather Ahead for Metro Detroit; When Does Snow Start?
More snow and subfreezing temperatures are on the way.

DETROIT, MI – More snow and subfreezing temperatures are moving into Metro Detroit.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for several southeast Michigan counties, including Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Livingston, Genesee and Washtenaw.

Snow should start around 8 p.m. Monday night and continue through the morning commute, according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures will be in the 20s, but winds will cause wind chill indices to remain in the single digits.
A clipper system moving through the area should drop another three inches of snow on the area, Rachel Kulik, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in White Lake Township, told The Detroit News.

Snow should taper off around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
On Sunday, between an inch and three inches of snow fell across Metro Detroit.
Here’s how the rest of the weekly forecast for Metro Detroit from the National Weather Service.
Tuesday: Temperatures rising to around 25 by 5 a.m.; south southwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Snow chance is 90 percent with a new snow accumulation of around 2 inches; chance of snow showers 30 percent overnight, with a low around 13 and wind chill values as low as -1; blustery, with a west northwest wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 18; west wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. A 30 percent chance of precipitation overnight, with a low around 15.
Thursday: Cloudy, with a high near 29; mostly cloudy overnight, with a low around 26.
Friday: A chance of snow showers; mostly cloudy with a high near 36; a chance of snow showers overnight, low around 29.
Saturday: A chance of snow showers; cloudy, with a high near 35; a chance of snow showers overnight, with a low around 24.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28 and a chance of snow showers.
