Shelving Inc Scholarship Opens to Students
Applications open for scholarship awarding three business students with $1,500 or $1,000 towards college education
Shelving, Inc., a second-generation family-owned provider of consumer shelving and storage solutions, announced the company is accepting applications for its fifth annual business scholarship contest. The company will provide one $1,500 first place scholarship and two $1,000 second and third place scholarships to three eligible college students currently pursuing a major in business and/or enrolled in a business-related field of study.
“With the rising cost of higher education, we understand how expensive earning a college degree can be,” said Schodowski. “That’s why this year, Shelving Inc. has proudly increased the amount of scholarship money awarded to winners. We want to make it a priority to invest in the next generation of business leaders dedicated to making a positive impact in their community and our economy.”
The scholarship is open to students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university within the U.S., or high school seniors currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in college beginning no later than the Fall 2019 semester. In addition, applicants must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA, submit a copy of their transcript, and draft an essay.
