When Will It Finally Stop Raining In Metro Detroit? Weekend Weather

The sun will shine again, but if you don't have a good book to read or movie to watch, find one for now; plus the latest on flood warning.

METRO DETROIT, MI — If you have a good book to read, a stack of movies you haven’t watched or an indoor project you’ve been neglecting, this is a good weekend to catch up.

It’s going to rain and rain and rain some more. It’ll be at least Monday before you see the sunshine again, according to the National Weather Service. Chances of thunderstorms remain in the forecast both Saturday and Sunday as a slow moving upper level low pressure system tracks across the area. As with any thunderstorm, localized heavy rain is possible.

With heavy rains still possible, a flood warning remains in effect in southeast Michigan through 8 p.m. Friday.
